Letter From The GM

Hello! My name is Adam Good, and it’s a pleasure to introduce myself as the General Manager of Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe located here in Greensboro, NC. After 38 years of operation, our team is incredibly grateful to have such enthusiastic and devoted guests who return year after year to enjoy time with their family and friends to create life-long memories at our park. I am incredibly excited to open our gates for the 2023 season and welcome you all back for another summer of fun at the Carolinas’ Favorite Water Park.

I started my career at Wet ’n Wild Emerald Pointe in 1998 working as a seasonal associate. In 2006, I accepted my first management role here at the park. During the interim period, I served as Revenue Manager, Director of Revenue, and Director of Operations. In 2018, I accepted my current role as General Manager, and transitioning into my 6^th year in the position, I want to reiterate my commitment to providing exceptional guest service to ensure that your next visit to our park is nothing short of unforgettable. 

While it may come as a surprise to some, Water Park’s bustle with activity in the offseason. With less than four months until the park opens, I am excited to announce that our team has been busy supercharging three of our park’s favorite waterslides with next-generation slide technology never before seen in the Carolinas. The high-thrill slides will transform into a full sensory surprise with the installation of new light and sound systems. Looking at all of the exciting changes coming to the park, I can honestly say that there has never been a better time to be a Wet ‘n Wild fan. Our season will officially kick off on Saturday, May 20, with more excitement and extra special events planned than any year yet. Between these new experiences and the addition of the new Bombs Away slides in 2022, our guests now have five new, electrifying reasons to dive into fun with us in 2023. On behalf of both the Palace Entertainment and the Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe teams, I would like to thank each of you for your continued support. I can’t wait to hear the laughter and see the smiles of guests enjoying our 40+ attractions, relaxing in one of our luxurious cabanas, and grabbing a bite to eat while soaking in the sun.
