When you think summer, think Wet ‘n Wild. The largest water park in both the Carolinas is the place to cool off, get sun and have fun. With over 36 rides and attractions, there's something for everyone…from mild to wild…from tots to seniors. It's family friendly and the young kids (and mom and dad, too) will have a great time in Splash Island and Happy Harbor, our two large children's areas. When you're ready to kick back and relax after enjoying the over 5 million gallons of water fun, Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe offers an abundance of lounge chairs and shaded areas.

Know Before You Go

Only you know your own, or your child's, or who you are supervising level of swimming skills. We strongly recommend all Guests under 48" or who are weak or non-swimmers wear Coast Guard approved lifejackets where appropriate. In the Wave Pool and Shipwreck Cove, all guests under 48" are REQUIRED to wear a lifejacket and we insist that parents keep their children within arms reach for their close supervision on all water activities. Free life jackets are available at the Wave pool and the Shipwreck Cove at no charge. When in doubt wear a life jacket!

Park Rules

  • Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe requires anyone using our water attractions to wear proper swimwear attire. (No cut-offs, rivets or thongs).
  • Flotation devices are not allowed with the exception of U.S. Coast Guard approved life vests. Water wings and donut rings are allowed in certain areas, and only if the child is under adult supervision.
  • Swim diapers or plastic pants are required for children wearing diapers or training pants.
  • Height Restrictions - A child must be 48" tall to ride certain rides.
  • Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children must be less than 52” tall to play in Happy Harbor and Splash Island. Adults or guardians must be accompanied by a child that meets the height requirement.
  • Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe is a smoke-free environment. Please observe the designated smoking areas.
  • Radios, tape/cd players or televisions without earphones are not allowed.
  • You may leave and re-enter the park on the same day if you have your hand stamped at the exit turnstile.
  • Rain Checks are issued if all attractions are closed due to inclement weather. You must present a same day ticket stub when leaving the park while attractions are closed.
  • Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe is concerned about your safety! To ensure the safety and security of our guests, our front gate policy requires that all bags and containers are subject to search and NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE will be permitted into the park with the exception of unopened bottled water and needed baby items. For the convenience of those electing to bring a picnic basket or cooler, a shaded picnic area outside the park is available along with limited basket storage for a nominal fee. (please try to limit to one basket or cooler per family and the following cannot be checked: boxes, grocery style bags or open bags). Alcoholic beverages, glass items, sharp metal objects (knives) and grills are prohibited.



Useful Information

  • Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park employs over 100 lifeguards and attendants. The First Aid Station is staffed by EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) and is open during park operating hours and special functions.
  • Inner tubes on rides that require them are provided free of charge.
  • Please avoid swallowing pool water, and refrain from using any public pool if you have been sick in the past two weeks.
  • Please secure all valuables. Wet‘n Wild Emerald Pointe is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Locker Rentals are available for both full day and after 4PM . The rental rate for a full day is $8.00 and after 4PM is $6.00. There are also large lockers available for rent. The rental rate for a full day large locker is $12.00 and an after 4PM large locker is $10.00.



Rain Check Policy

When you go to Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe you know you are in for the absolute wettest thrills you can find anywhere in the Carolina's. Sometimes it storms at the park. And when that brings lightning, the park closes the rides and pools. But, if that happens and you decide to leave for the day, you get a rain check to come back for another visit to the park. If the park closes after 4pm, you will recieve a PM raincheck.

So if it was me, I would head out to Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe today. Then, I would hope it storms before the day is out. That way, I would score another visit to a world class water park.



Food & Beverage

Great food and snacks are available throughout the park. Whether it’s a great hamburger to satisfy your appetite or a chilly serving of ice cream to cool you down, you’ll find what you are looking for… all here, inside the park.

Captain Eli’s – Conveniently located in the center of the park Captain Eli’s features an All-American menu of Cheeseburgers, Hamburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Tenders, Hot Dogs, French Fries, salads and more.

Uncle Luigi’s Pizza – Enjoy an outdoor Italian café atmosphere and a delicious pizza at Uncle Luigi’s Pizza. It’s available by the slice or by the pie. Fly through our new Express Line and purchase entire meals for your family in one quick and easy trip.

Crispy’s Chicken - How about some popcorn chicken with curly fries or onion rings? Cooked to a golden brown and served with your choice of sauces: Honey Mustard, BBQ, Hot Sauce or Ranch. Add a soft drink and you’ve got a meal that will satisfy the heartiest of appetites.

The Dog House – A variety of hot dogs are available at The Dog House - Foot Long’s, Carolina Dogs and Polish Sausage Dogs just to name a few. And there is even a kiddie dog combo for the little ones!

Icee Island, Polar Treats Ice Cream and Funnel Cake Reef – These great stands offer an array of favorite treats from soft serve ice cream cones and frozen Icee’s to Funnel Cakes, Cotton Candy and Popcorn.

Dippin’ Dots - The ice cream of the future is a favorite treat for young and old alike. Dippin’ Dots are available in a variety of flavors at any of our three stands located throughout the park.

Breakers – Located next to Thunder Bay Wave Pool, Breakers offers an assortment of delicious hand-dipped ice cream.

The Lemon Tree – Refreshing, fresh-squeezed lemonade is the perfect drink for a summer day!
